Privacy policy
In short: Tea Garden Mahjong does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal data. It has no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no account. Your progress and settings stay on your device.
Who we are
Tea Garden Mahjong is developed and published by François Beaussier, an independent developer (“I”, “me”). If you have any question about this policy, you can contact me at francois@beaussier.net.
Information the app collects
None. The app does not collect any personal or sensitive information. In particular, it does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers, advertising ID or usage data, and it does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
No ads, no analytics, no third-party tracking
- The app contains no advertising and no advertising SDK.
- The app contains no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDK.
- The app does not include any third-party library that collects or transmits user data.
- There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
Network access
The game works entirely offline and does not need an internet connection. It does not send any data to me or to anyone else.
Data stored on your device
To let you continue where you left off, the app saves the following information locally on your device only:
- your game in progress;
- your statistics (games played and won, best times, daily puzzle results and streak);
- your settings (music, sound, vibration, theme, language, timer, tile numbers and similar options).
This information never leaves your device through the app and I have no access to it. It is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Depending on your Android settings, Android's own device backup may include app data; that backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings, not by the app.
Permissions
The only permission the app uses is vibration, to give gentle haptic feedback when you play. You can turn vibration off in the game's settings. The app does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, files or any other personal information.
Google Play
The app is distributed through Google Play. When you download or use apps from Google Play, Google may collect information as described in Google's privacy policy. As the developer, I may see aggregated, anonymous statistics provided by the Google Play Console (such as number of installs or app crash rates), which do not identify you.
Children's privacy
Tea Garden Mahjong is suitable for all ages. Because the app does not collect any personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) either.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or trackers. It is hosted by Cloudflare Pages, which may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The font is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font is downloaded.
Your rights
Since I hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you write to me by email, I will only use your message and email address to answer you, and you can ask me to delete our correspondence at any time.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever started to collect data, this policy would be updated before that change is released.
